Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I have a Colt Officer's Model in bright stainless and a Colt Mustang in polished nickel and have never had a problem with glare or reflections at the range. I suppose if the angle was right it could happen, but I think you would have to be firing at a target with the sun in the background for it to really interfere in aiming.
The upside is you can put your gun around a corner and use it as a "tactical" mirror...
