It seems that pumpkin patches / farms around the Washington county area have stupid expensive prices on their pumpkins. Makes just want to head over to Winco and grab a few there.

Are there any places around the area that have decent prices on their squash??? Thanks!

You might try out around the Canby or Woodburn area.

Yeah, I hear ya'.....

A couple years ago we were going to go to the Rolloff's (sp) place out West on 26 on our way back from mushroom hunting. We thought we'd get a good deal on some cool, different shaped pumpkins. NO WAY! What a rip-off, those places are like bubblegummin' amusement parks! Here on the East side we go to The Barn, they're the closest to having some pumpkins with personality, and not much of that there even.

Used to be you could get pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes, now they're all grown to look the same?

The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. Awesome place and awesome owners. Even run a hunting club on the farm. Good prices on everything, and the best corn on the cob you'll ever try (like 5 for $1).
