Yeah right, American "football" is so awesome..... 1 dude grabs some balls from under another dudes azz..... THEN all these dudes chase each other around playing grab azz only to "pile" on top of each other in some homoerotic (American) fashion.... Not to mention slapping each other on the azz for good luck (or for fun later on) Im sure glad Im an American who loves REAL "football".... BTW, Ill put any of you "foolball" fans up against "soccer" fans any day. Soccer fans kill people....A lot of people..... I had to look to even know who the 'Sounders' were. Not much for mindless sports. Watching millionaires dribbling a rubber ball around, same and lame.

Bread and circuses for the masses so they don't do too much thinking.

The Sounders get more attendance than the Mariners and former Sonics combined, average 38-40k fans per match with 50-67k at some matches.... The fan base here in Seattle rival that of the European premier leagues as well as have the largest and highest rated supporters group in the USA.

FYI very few get millions, pay for most players are 24-36k per year. This is a sport they don't do for money, it's because the players like to do it.

I was referring to the NBA, but if what you are saying about soccer players and their pay is true, that makes it more tolerable.

Always have been fascinated how fans worship and adore players who make tens of millions of dollars while the overpaid dribblers look down upon, and in many cases, hate the fans. Not to mention that most professional athletes have the personality and charisma of a tree frog.

The NBA finals made for great evenings at the range.

I think you are being a little closed minded there - pretty much only the US plays American football, while the entire rest of the world plays soccer.
