Casting bullets, anyone else here

Where does everyone get their lead? I bought some off a buddy who got it from a buddy. I have only done a few hundred rounds but not sure where to get more

Plumbers and roofers are a good source, watch yard sales is another. If you see roofers out on a job a 6 pack at the end of the day will probably make you a friend. DR

Seeing your post, I went to check up on my Eastwood order and see when my powder will be arriving.
I never placed the order -- D'oh! Two of the items in my basket were now out of stock. LOL.
Ordered some different stuff.

I don't use clear coat often, I'm a big fan of semigloss silver. With Cardinal PC it coats easily and you can bake in a pile and they don't stick together.

Coating tall bullets you can use a wire grid support


coating .223 you can use a small silicone ice cube tray

Wich 309's?

By 309s, I mean the Lee 309 (dunno weight) for 308. Either @ageingstudent gave me one or I bought it, but haven't tried it yet.

Yup. When I went back, all the items were out of stock until May. So I ordered chrome, copper, Mopar orange and a fourth color. They should be here Saturday. Looking forward to it, as I have a few hundred .266's waiting on coating.
