In the coming months, I am planning on some recon missions to northern Nevada. As it is a very ominous assignment with overtones of extreme personal danger, and being apprised of the bat situation, I prefer to be armed to the teeth.
Jokes aside, it appears an Oregon CHL is not valid in the drier state. Utah's, however, does appear so. Queries:

- Assuming this is correct, is a Utah license the way to go? Best way to go about said?
- Any weird laws, regulations, or other quirks about carry in Nevada? I'm not finding obnoxious things like magazine capacity limits, but figured I'd toss it out there. (Was thinking a small piece for on-person carry and something heavier like a full sized revolver or AOW scattergun as backup. Though I travel light, so maybe just a concealed J-frame type wheelgun or Walther PPK and call it good.)
- Unrelated to packing, any things to check out whilst over there? This is largely business trips, but some fun never hurts. I no longer drink nor play the casinos, having reformed my wicked ways (well, some of them), so that would be out.
