This rifle has a sporterized stock, and I believe the barrel was shortened. I have only seen pictures of the rifle. What's it worth? It appears to be in good condition .

Bore condition...?
Has this rifle been drilled and tapped for a scope...
And if so...how well done was this / was this done by a drunken monkey....?
What is this rifle currently chambered in / head space...?
Safety and trigger modified...?
Again...how well has the overall sporterization been done / drunk monkey gun works special....
Could this rifle be re-configured back to its military shape...?

All kinds of questions before being able to guess at a answer to what it is worth.

Well I couldn't really say. If you want an M96 "Swedish Mauser" this isn't it. $250.00? At our local Oregon Arms Collectors show there was a member that had the real thing on his table for $450.00. All numbers I could see matched. Barrel bands didn't. (not uncommon) Bolt parts matched. Don't know about about firing pin. IF, I didn't already have two, a M96 and M 96/38. I would have snapped that up.
