Can't Open my Stack-On 10 Gun Safe

I believe I have the same type safe. Something fell against one of the locking brackets causing it not to fully turn and open. I drilled a small hole next to, over the locking bracket and inserted a rod to push back the object that was blocking it. In my case a folder.
