I don't have an AR, but if I did that is pretty much exactly what I would do with it.

Even though a 12oz can of soda going at that speed would cause a LOOOOOTTTT more damage than an actual 556 round from a 2" barrel, the ATF in all its wisdom decided that it was so much more unsafer to have a chamber that could fire a live round instead of only blanks.

I'm sure gangbangers, who were planning on using the can cannon as a shrouded 2" short-barreled rifle to go out gangbanging, are so bummed.
