Another anti-gun California lawmaker in legal trouble today

Anti-gun California State Sen. Leland Yee has been indicted on charges of public corruption, according to a breaking story in the Sacramento Bee and other news agencies, making him the second high-profile Golden State gun control proponent to wind up in trouble in the past month.

Corruption, and the associated profits, are why the majority seek and retain office. I prefer non-corrupt pols, but I'll take the corrupt ones who don't pick away at my rights over the ones who do.

I would bet he gets charges dropped.

WE wouldn't get our illegal firearms trafficking charges dropped...

This seems to be the theme of the day. Arrests in CA (few details), Charlotte(taking bribes) and even Illinois(child porn). Technically the last one wasn't a politician as he had resigned earlier in the day. Coincidence? I doubt it.

It's not really the kind of news that the MSM will report, just like all the positive things that have happened under Scott Walker in Wisconsin. Don't expect to see it on the evening news, and if you do it will be one time only and blamed on Bush. Don't forget, though, that the right wing is full of brainless church people and that the tea party id nothing but racists... /sarc

He is part of an organization led by a "former" notorious gangster named Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow.

Right there everyone loses the right to be surprised that criminal enterprise was afoot.

This story does absolutely nothing to strengthen my faith in humanity.

'Staggering' Yee allegations: California corruption and anti-gun hypocrisy

In February 2013, California State Sen. Leland Yee was pushing tighter restrictions on Golden State gun owners and months later he was quietly negotiating an illegal gun trafficking scheme in exchange for campaign contributions to help finance his upcoming run for Secretary of State, according to a federal complaint released yesterday …

"This is not an easy issue," Yee told a KPIX reporter at the time. "But I am a father, and I want our communities to be safe, and God forbid if one of these weapons fell into the wrong hands."

Seems more and more we are hearing about anti gun gubment types claiming they are serving america by ridding the law abiding f it's rights and protection, but smuggling in guns to their criminal friends and donators.

We need to clean house of anyone looking to infringe on our freedoms, and most important is the 2nd amendment.

Revolution is happening all over the world, it's a matter of time before it happens here.
How much will we take?

'Guns for Yee but not for thee,' says Gottlieb, new bogeyman for WAGR

Anti-gun California State Senator Leland Yee, facing federal corruption charges that include gun trafficking, was honored in 2006 by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence for his gun control efforts, and yesterday, he dropped out of the race for California Secretary of State…
