It is unlawful in Oregon and most other states for felons to possess armor. It enhances other charges of you commit a crime while wearing armor as well. His original felony was assault in New York.

Bet hes a bat $#!7 crazy Bernie Bro, but they are keeping waaaay quiet. I wonder if this was another FBI "sting" that got out of hand. The Feebs are real good at coming up with terrorist plans then getting a patsy to try carrying it out. Look at the xmas tree jihadi in Portland a few years back.

The FBI is as evil an agency as they come. Why would FBI be in charge of an investigation about explosive possessions unless there were more serious undertones. The Feebs pitched a bubblegum when ATF was restructured and put in charge of explosives in the 90s. Why wasn't ATF conducting the raid for illegal explosives. For that matter - why was a felon allowed to obtain them? Why didn't they drop the ban hammer the instant they learned he had obtained them? They made their list, checked it twice or ten times, drank some starbucks, picked some belly lint, let the guy build some bombs then he damn near killed a cop.
