Given how many millions were dropped who knows how many more must be laying around. Accuracy back then was really hit and miss. It is amazing that they still now and then stumble onto one after all this damn time. Makes me wonder how many rotted away to the point nothing is left of them?

heck, they found live anthrax still in WWI shells before.. talk about the gift that keeps on giving

Toured Verdun and the battlefield years ago (tho this century) and live ordinance was still being found there, close to a century after the battles. So, the Brits have got at least a few more years to worry.
