If you have the prescription with the prism correction already, you could go anywhere glasses are made really. The hardest part is done, as long as the prescription is correct you will get the same results no matter where you go. Different glass shops may use different material, have more or less selection of frames, and warranty will vary. Costco is good. Their selection of frames is low but it keeps cost down significantly. Online shopping is also an option so long as you get your pupillary distance (PD) measured. Although with the addition of prism to your prescription, I'd choose a physical shop so you can return if the prism is not adequate for you.

The Dr bumped up the prism from last time, but I will go back in a couple of weeks to see a specialist in eye muscle surgery to see what she thinks about surgery to correct my double vision.

Thanks

Definitely worth an evaluation. Diplopia is no fun and as long as you have it, you'll need glasses, even with perfect eyesight

I have 20/20 vision if you ignore the occlusions & floaters and cataracts (minor), which of course eyeglasses can't correct (AFAIK). However, while the eye chart says I have 20/20, I need reading glasses and OTOH I can't see as far as I used to at the same time (but I used to have "eagle vision" so...).

I need glasses with prism correction (dual vision) and I want progressive lenses. My eye doctor gave me a prescription for what I need, so now I need a good optician.

Suggestions?

What about Costco? Are they any good?
I got two pair of glasses at Costco for less than the price of ONE where I get my eye exam.
