"Assault weapon" ban officially drops in Olympia!

Typical anti gun BS, going after private transfers, raising the age to buy so called "assault weapons", mag bans, and now trying to ban so called "assault weapons". It's all a part of their grand confiscation scheme by chipping away our rights bit by bit. Lord help us.

I didn't see any indication that rimfire firearms were included in the bills. I guess you guys will be buying and selling lots of CMMG 22lr kit equipped ARs up there if this passes.

Not directly against suppressors, but anything equipped... or capable of being equipped with one (threaded barrel) are included in the ban.

I guess that means you can have them, but it would be illegal to use one.... is my guess. Of course, that includes any type of muzzle device (flash hiders, muzzle breaks, etc, etc.).

To note: The exception being grandfathered items... for "now".

I'll keep harping on it. While figures are hard to find in one place, between 200-400 deaths occurs on school buses every year for decades. That is a totally regulated government paid and controlled industry, for the children. Thousands more are injured. Control has nothing to do with the interest of safety.

The cats out of the bag with these Trillion $$ packages. Money has never been an issue. Influence, control and ego.

It's basically a carbo copy with enhancments of the previous 2 bills introduced the past couple years that they were unable to get passed the last 2 tries.

Short answer: Depends on what kind of lower you're talking about. One that would be useable to build a banned firearm... yes.

At the least, it seems like this could become cloudy enough that online retailers wouldn't sell to Wa. just to be safe.

That does seem incredibly likely, doesn't it. Maybe not as a first step, but they certainly seem to be on the menu, don't they. That kind of legistation would certainly set the framework solidly in place for component regulation.
