I believe it is an import by RG Industries...

here is a quote I found on another board through a quick google search

The RG I remember sold guns made by Rohm Gmbh in West Germany. The guns were generally zinc-framed cheapos, referred to as "Roscoes" by the law enforcement community. A couple were somewhat better. I liked my .357 RG57, but got worried about it when I learned of the low-grade material they were made of, and I sold it. They seemed to be very loosely based on the S&W design.
