A sling mount end plate should be delivered to my door on Friday. I am an AR newbie and have no experience with pulling the buffer tube. If anyone that has a buttstock wrench, experience with proper removal/assembly, and some time to teach could help me out, it would be very appreciated.

I have one as well. A word of advice though. IF ( and I mean if) you have to remove your buffer tube, make sure that when you start to back out the tube you watch for the buffer detaunt pin and spring. They will come flying out if you're not paying attention. The last sling adapter I put on mine I didn't have to remove the buffer tub so you may get lucky.
