Some people on the innernet and whatnot ask "how do I make 9mm major?" (which is beyond +P++ and no real loading data even exists for even +P+).. and some answer perhaps cavalierly, "add a couple grains a powder!". Don't do that though, even though that's the way it actually works.
Get some handloading manuals.. they've been around for a long time if memory serves.

7.0 of power pistol makes 9 major with 124gr X Treme plated. I worked it up with a chronograph, also had no pressure signs.

Changed it to 7.2 and got no sign and got it to chronograph just above 9 major at 1340 fps /1320 or was it 1140.... LOL

Get a chronograph and go up slow. And don't use a fast powder. ... bullseye aa#2 or 231 etc.

Get no faster that power pistol or aa#5. And leave 9mm major for us that shoot competition with compensated barrels.

Be safe!
