I'm all for putting Chinese pollution in check, but what do you expect anyone besides China themselves to do about it? Our economy is very much tied up in theirs and America is hardly the ideal example of being good Earth stewards. I just don't think it's fair to blame one political party or task them with controlling China which no one can do.Global Warmists are true believing FUDS. I suggest they all research the Vostok ice core samples and revisit climate gate. The Sun is responsible for the heating trend we had. That is over. We are most likely entering a solar minimum. It's just more virtue signaling bs.
Now, I'm not saying that we shouldn't be better stewards of the Earth but when Leftist want to cripple our economy while doing nothing to curb the massive pollution coming out of China or India, I cry foul.
Yes, climate has always been changing but the difference is the speed in which changes are occurring now. And it's not just heat or cold, it's the disruption of the jet stream. Which, BTW, was the reason for the heat dome we had back in June.Humans weren't around to influence the climate for last several ice ages.
So what happened? Dinosaur farts?
Care to explain why the current Sahara Desert was a tropical forest, not once or twice but three times in the history of the earth?Yes, climate has always been changing but the difference is the speed in which changes are occurring now. There, you said it: "the history of the Earth". How long do you reckon that might be?Care to explain why the current Sahara Desert was a tropical forest, not once or twice but three times in the history of the earth?
I place the blame of offshoring our manufacturing on The Uniparty(Reps and Dems) and globalist corporations and their lobbyists. Our economy thrives on cheap energy. We were on our way to energy independence until Joe the Kidsniffer halted the pipeline amongst other things. The American oligarchy seem to want us to live under a sort of Democratic Socialism where the State is the final say.I'm all for putting Chinese pollution in check, but what do you expect anyone besides China themselves to do about it? Correct... the HISTORY of the Earth. Meaning that there is a cycle which in the timeline man has only been onboard for a small fraction. There, you said it: "the history of the Earth". How long do you reckon that might be?
I have no doubt humans have influenced the planet's climate. Maybe even sped up the process. However, we really can't change anything at this point. Whatever humans could do, would be insignificant in the grand scheme of the earth's 4+ billion years. Besides, China is the number one polluter on the planet, and you are not going to change their ways.Yes, climate has always been changing but the difference is the speed in which changes are occurring now. Divide/Conquer! Nuthin new!!Just another issue we divide ourselves on based entirely on our expected views from our preferred parties and the tribalism within them
Pretty much. I often wonder if people would be so vociferously against the concept of climate change if Ronald Reagan was the first guy to espouse it.Just another issue we divide ourselves on based entirely on our expected views from our preferred parties and the tribalism within them
