I Bought a case of chicom 160 grain machinegun ammo with steel cores back in the mid 90s and that stuff is HOT. I would shoot it from a M38 and it produced the largest fireball I ever did see. Then I tried it at night. Wish I would have videoed it! All that ammo is still back in MI.. Oh well.

I was at the range one slow day and buh buh next to me refused to put ear pro in when I warned him. The blast scared him so bad he fell over backwards when he moved to get away. It was pretty comical to watch from the corner of my eye....

If you can find some Yugo Type D 182 grain ball you will turn some good groups if your gun is headspaced properly and the bore is good. Sometimes the mismatched guns give poor results. I got .75" size groups from mine with that ammo.
