That is an interesting read.
There is, and probably always will be a want to redesign the AR and with the initial problems of the M16 in Vietnam there are those who will eternally think the AR15 is flawed. I do believe the function is flawless as long as the weapon is properly cared for.
War time is a whole other beast though.
