True, but you aren't stretching the neck.... You stretch the body and turn it into the new neck.Stretching a .22 neck to .308 thins the case neck thickness, so I cannot imagine the brass is too thick.
Again, I did give them a chance. I emailed and called repeatedly, no response, none, nicht,Stretching a .22 neck to .308 thins the case neck thickness, so I cannot imagine the brass is too thick. It was already mentioned without further discussion...Could be they inadvertantly used .310-.312 bullets instead of .308 bullets.
Please give the company a chance. I know, easy for me to say, as I'm not the one out the ammo.I've attempted contact with two other ammo suppliers over the week, and neither of them had time to even take my order. They actually told me that and asked me to call back another time.
WAYNO.
Well just as the emails and calls before, no return call from Bryan.................I called and Bryan was not in. Left a message with the guy who answered the phone. He says he will pass the message on when he sees him.
Another business day and still no response.Well just as the emails and calls before, no return call from Bryan.................
Ya part of what gets to me is I had to wait over 30 days to get this ammo because they said they were behind on shipping orders out. I waited and was so amped when it got here. Told 2 of my shooting buddies how good of a deal it was and even suggested they check Ozark out. I am so grateful they did not order from them. That would have been my reputation shot to S&^t. Dodged a bullet there. (Pun intended)Well, so much for posting the rest of the links I had on this company...
At this point there's no excuse. They have someone here with an account who posted once, and didn't even bother with a follow up to either see you wre getting taken care of or to say why there hasn't been a call.
wish id had found this forum earlier. omg just ordered 250 rounds hope they got better or i will send emails to all the major gun companies too!!! i hate sumbags that shine people on..OP... Sorry you had the issues. I was searching around for. 300 ammo and came across several threads around the Internet that talked about these guys and their issues. I actually got treated pretty badly over at 300blk.com for questioning the company. It turns out they came on the forum over there and provided samples to some members who evidently became instant fans.
I'm real glad I went with my gut and bypassed the purchase with them.
I read about some issues with freedom munitions years ago, but nothing like Ozark.
I first stayed away from freedom but the 300 prices were too good to pass up. I've gone through 500 rounds in my 300 without issue. They are always cheapest on ammoseek.com. I also started buying their new 357 ammo for the range.
Thx for posting this.... It takes any temptation away from me to try their stuff. Always go with the gut.... Always.
