Stretching a .22 neck to .308 thins the case neck thickness, so I cannot imagine the brass is too thick. It was already mentioned without further discussion...Could be they inadvertantly used .310-.312 bullets instead of .308 bullets.

Please give the company a chance. I know, easy for me to say, as I'm not the one out the ammo.o_O I've attempted contact with two other ammo suppliers over the week, and neither of them had time to even take my order. They actually told me that and asked me to call back another time.

WAYNO.

True, but you aren't stretching the neck.... You stretch the body and turn it into the new neck.

Again, I did give them a chance. I emailed and called repeatedly, no response, none, nicht,

I agree with the OP, you just don't turn out a shoddy product when it comes to firearms and ammo. Too dangerous of a combination. And you don't ignore a customer. You bite the bullet, pun intended, and make it right.

Brutus Out

I am not currently in the office and away till next week, but work for Ozark Ordnance. We have had some periodic issues with email and our CRM software. I will double check it as soon as I get back.

For immediate assistance, it's always best to call either the toll free number on the site or 417-451-2492. Ask for Bryan, he's the manufacturing manager. He will take care of you pronto.

Just sent this in and will be posting this info on every firearms group I can.
"I have tried to get this issue resolved with your company through multiple emails and phone calls to no avail. I have left messages with Bryan and no return call so I am done with that. I guess my only option is to let everyone, in all the firearm groups I belong to, know about this so they do not enter into the same problem I have had with the bad ammo and no customer service. "

Few things infuriate me more than an unresponsive business after a problem! I'm perfectly fine with politely working with the company to a solution. Everyone makes mistakes but they have no right to ignore a customer once they have his cash! If that happens I'm done with them forever!

Sorry you have had this issue, but thank you for posting it here. I will make sure Ozark goes on my list of places I won't do business with. They have no excuse to not respond to you, especially since one of their employees posted here. He should have bent over backwards to make sure you were taken care of.

Well, so much for posting the rest of the links I had on this company...

At this point there's no excuse. They have someone here with an account who posted once, and didn't even bother with a follow up to either see you wre getting taken care of or to say why there hasn't been a call.

Ya part of what gets to me is I had to wait over 30 days to get this ammo because they said they were behind on shipping orders out. I waited and was so amped when it got here. Told 2 of my shooting buddies how good of a deal it was and even suggested they check Ozark out. I am so grateful they did not order from them. That would have been my reputation shot to S&^t. Dodged a bullet there. (Pun intended)
Let your friends know not to order from this company.

OP... Sorry you had the issues. I was searching around for. 300 ammo and came across several threads around the Internet that talked about these guys and their issues. I actually got treated pretty badly over at 300blk.com for questioning the company. It turns out they came on the forum over there and provided samples to some members who evidently became instant fans.

I'm real glad I went with my gut and bypassed the purchase with them.

I read about some issues with freedom munitions years ago, but nothing like Ozark.

I first stayed away from freedom but the 300 prices were too good to pass up. I've gone through 500 rounds in my 300 without issue. They are always cheapest on ammoseek.com. I also started buying their new 357 ammo for the range.

Thx for posting this.... It takes any temptation away from me to try their stuff. Always go with the gut.... Always.

Interesting thread...Myself and a buddy had some problems a few months ago or so with ammo not feeding, firing, etc in a couple of different platforms. He emailed and left a bad review on their website and they promptly contacted him back. He mentioned I was having issues as well. Ultimately they stepped up to the plate and took care of the issue. I spoke with reps multi times on the issue, they were very responsive. They replaced our ammo and had us test a few things. They tested the old ammo, etc...My problem was a new 300blk upper was out of spec or something. My friends problem was solved with a new batch of ammo. The manufacture fixed my upper and since I have had no problems with Ozark.

That said you should not have to go through all that hassle. But if you haven't, leave feedback on their website. That seemed to get their attention when my buddy did it.

Best of luck on getting this resolved.

So I got an email finally from Bryan, however he tried to blame the lack of their communication on me.

"Hey (I omitted my name here), I received a message that you have had some issues concerning your order of 110 grain Hp's from us recently along with some communication issues. I apologize you are having trouble reaching us. I would like to talk with you more about the issues your are experiencing with our rounds. I have tried to call the number we have on file for you, but it says it is temporarily disconnected. If you would give me a working number and the best time to reach you I'll give you a call personally. Otherwise you can try our shop number"

Funny I sent my phone number each time, gave it to the guy I left a message with there at their company, AND they have my email, plus if it was a phone problem (everyone else has been able to call me) the person registered here could have relayed a message. I told Bryan all this when I emailed back a short while ago.
My email to them:
"Bryan,

First of all I have sent in my phone number through email 4 times and left you the number with someone who answered the phone finally there at your office. (509)###-####. My phone is not now nor has it ever been disconnected, temporarily or otherwise. So lets not go there. The person who is on Northwestfirearms.com who says he works at your company could have also mentioned you were having a problem contacting me, so there have been multiple ways to do so, Email, NWF and phone.

I am between classes from 09:15-11:00 and I have another break from 12:15- 12:45 I am done with my classes at 14:50, however sometimes I have a meeting with a student for a few minutes after. This is PST by the way.

The issue I am having is the first 6 rounds I tried to chamber jammed and the bolt would not close due to the neck being outsized. Remington, Hornady and now Lellier & Bellot all work fine. They chamber and cycle without a problem.

You can see on the round below the neck damage from being too wide to fit."

Not a good sign when I get phony excuses now.
Will post with updates for anyone interested...
