Still trying to figure out what the creeper is doing out there. Do you have a lift for the unit?

When the flail unit was attached to the power unit, laying down was the only way I could get to the crap twisted around the rotor/flails. After a while I gave up and removed the flail unit and turned it upside down/etc., and sat there on the creeper to pull the crap out of the mower. It took over an hour to get it all unwound and clear.

Its not the getting down that's hard, its the having to get back up that's hard. Flopping around like a fish to be able to get your knees and hips to work again!
