ak reciever question

hello folks.ive been contemplating putting a swivel stud on the rear of a romanian ak reciever.does anyone have experience drilling/milling a hole in one?i have a mill or drillpress.what would you suggest? ps there are 2 layers to go thru at the trunion area where i want to put the swivel. thanks in advance

hello sorry no pic.its an ak pistol.im wanting a swivel between the 2 rivets at the rear trunion,on the left side.thanks

i got busy last night,took out a sharp centerpunch,set it up on the drill press and put a .200 hole right where she belongs.turned out excellent.works perfect for stablizing the sling.it was a little hard drilling, worked better with tapping fluid.cant wait to test it out.thanks for looking

get a quick disconnect and place it directly at the rear plate.Or you can put it in the side.You will be able to use a single point and quick it on and off in a flash.Just a thought
