Does anyone know why AFT in Gresham is closed until Saturday? Seems like a really inconvenient three days to be closed, especially since I was there yesterday and they told me my purchases should be approved by today. When I got there today there was a sign on the door that just mentioned "connection issues" but I was hoping someone here may have more insight

I have heard of numerous gun shops taking a break to help regain their sanity.

Dec 8 would have been the day where they told everyone they could have a few days off I would think as it was originally the end of crunch time but just guessing.

Not sure why anyone would want to vist Advance Firearm and Training.
Extremely rude and overpriced. Even for ffl transfers? $50 plus the $10 for the nics check.
My experience with AFT over several years has been the exact opposite of what you've stated. I've always found it to be a very friendly shop with great service and reasonable prices. That applies to the shop when Tony owned it before he retired as well as the new team. Its very surprising that anyone would have anything negative to say about advanced firearms training.

How much are the transfers?

I'm glad your experience wasn't anything like mine. However....
If you go to the reviews, you'll find that I'm not alone in my negative experience.

Unfortunate to hear of your bad experience but still find it very surprising though. I've visited the shop quite a few times over several years and I've never seen any behavior like you're describing….. now, Warren and team at the gun room are a different story entirely

I just took a look at their reviews on here. There are six reviews posted, all rating them as excellent with the exception of one that is negative. Overall rating is listed as 4.5 out of 5 stars. I didn't see a review from you on there. See link below.
If you do have a negative experience at any shop it may be helpful to others if you posted it and supplied some context or details for potential customers to consider.
Are you referring to reviews on a different site?
