They don't give two rubs about people outside of their districts but believe me, they are all talking to each other about what is happening.

I understand what you are writing and how you feel and I agree.

However, in matters like this frankly you are better saying less.

They don't care about the law, right, justice, history, your feelings or any rational thought.

They care about money and power which in the end are one and the same.

If you tell them that you are going to work day and night to get her out of office and to cut off her money supplies, she is more likely to listen. Tell her you are getting your friends and neighbors to vote against her. That you are organizing and that you are going to push for a recall. Make it about costing her money and votes. That is all that matters in the end.

I absolutely, violently agree.

At this point, the primary - and maybe the only - leverage we have, is the threat of unhorsing whoever votes for this Thing. These Socialist cockroaches WANT to vote for it *no matter what*; it's all about making them understand they'll lose their power if it passes.

My suggestion when calling is to focus not on the content of the bill or the reasons why it is junk - they already know that - but rather on your unshakeable intention to spend all the resources at your disposal to do whatever you can to force them out of office if they vote for it.

That said, this is not a critique of the OP's letter; one can never be certain that someone else's idea in trying to knock sense into one of these bozos won't somehow "hit home", all indications to the contrary notwithstanding.

You have to send individually addressed emails. It took me a couple of hours to cut-and-paste the email addresses and change the salutations.

Inform your personal cockroach that you're in its district in the first sentence, and just don't include that sentence in the rest of the emails. They have no right to complain about "Outside Influence" from within their own State, while pocketing Bloombugger's bribes.
