This has nothing to do with my name. I have an old S&W revolver that I have had mixed information on about its caliber. If holding the gun, the right side of the barrel is stamped
38 S&W SPECIAL CTG". Is there a difference between this and a regular 38 special? Just curious, because I don't want to do anything that will blow my hand off. If it helps, I believe the model is a 1905 4th change.
