My friend needs help w/his Grand Cherokee, it sounds like classic fuel starvation.
I have yet to look at the Jeep but it does have a throttle body
Is the filter and gas pump located inside the tank, are the tanks metal or plastic, are they easy to drop and inspect, what about the vent hoses?
Thanks

is it a "crank no start conditon" or "starts and dies?" if its a "crank no start" you can verify its a fuel concern if you spray starting fluid down the intake and attempt to start it. if it starts and runs for a second after you spray starting fluid down the intake you now have verified a fuel concern. also with an assistant you can take a block of wood or rubber mallet and tap on the tank (assuming the pump is in tank) while someone cranks the engine. if it starts that will verify it needs a fuel pump AND filter
