45 acp bullets for reloading

I've loaded up some 230 gr xtreme but the Dillon dies leave a ugly ring. Using the correct side of the seater. Shoot fine just ugly.

I had that exact problem. I was able to reduce the ring by enlarging the flare and reducing the force needed to seat the projectile. These are Berry's.

My flare was alright, talked to Dillon sanded down the inside of the seater a little. Mostly polishing any sharp spot, still a little hint of a ring. Wished they would make a custom piece for plated bulets.
