Hmm, I plan to start loading for 458 soon, that will be something to look out for.

Remember to use adequate lube, it makes you cry when you pull the rim off of an .85 piece of brass.

I had nothing but trouble with my go to redding dies reloading 458 socom. Took a chance on hornady dies which I use to loathe and I have been pleasantly suprised. No stuck cases and brass comes out sized perfectly and not overworked.

Like others have said, I can feel them when resizing, and pull them out before priming. It does throw off my rythm, though.

My nemesis is WCC 9mm brass with crimped primer pockets.

I can usually feel resistance when priming and stop before forcing anything, but every now and then a primer will start at an angle and wedge itself in there, often crushing or deforming the primer.

I hate WCC brass with a passion!
