A recent article about a Taurus 66.

Looks like i'm after something for the $5xx mark maximum, a model 10 sounds great, but it might end up being some Taurus version or something like the SP101.

Using my zip Code I searched Davidson's Gallery of Guns for the Taurus 66 it had blue and stainless 4" and 6", I selected the Stainless 4" to see their price, the blue one would be a little cheaper.

For those not wanting to wait on the slow link it was just shy of $430

I already have a GP100 though, and whilst it's a shorter barrel, it's the same gun.

Well I think I would like a Combat Master GP100, but it is pricey, That Taurus 66 is reasonable and something else to consider is a Charter Arms Pitbull in 9MM, I just bought one new for $435. It is a five shooter, no need for moon clips. 9mm shoots even softer than 38 Spl. Great gun for the money.

Since I'm spending your money, let's get a Smith 4" 686. Dang that'd be just about right!
