223 ar15 vs bolt help

So I'm looking to build a 223 rifle that's 16 inch barrel and threaded will be ran with a can. idea of the gun is 500 yard shooting paper and possibly use it for coyotes and ground squirrels.

If I got ar15 it would be with a magpul prs stock or if I go bolt was thinking a ruger ranch rifle in a mdt lss chassis. Just dunno which is a better pick ot more accurate

Anyone happen to have a ruger ranch and if so how do you like it
