Ya, that's one gun that it would be about the same price to buy new on vs smithing. Unless your really attached to that specific barrel.

Green Mountain Barrels USED to have the fast twist 1x9 Ruger 8" Charger barrels. Works great with just about any bullet weight .22rf ammo. I do not know if they have them now. Used to. Works great in the SBR Ruger 10-22 Suppressed night vision dinky garden monster slayer.
