The Ruger Standard Model is a rimfire semi-automatic pistol introduced in 1949 as the first product manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co., and was the founding member of a product line of .22 Long Rifle cartridge handguns, including its later iterations: the MK II, MK III, and MK IV. It is marketed as an inexpensive .22 caliber rimfire intended for casual sport and target shooting, and plinking. Designed by company founder William B. Ruger, the Standard model and its offspring went on to become the most accepted and successful .22 caliber semi-automatic pistols ever produced.

Hi,
I’ve got a brand new Ruger Mark IV 22/45 .22LR for sale. I purchased it a couple years ago and haven’t shot it yet and would like to sell it for something else.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
My search for a Ruger 'Mark' .22 may be over.
Not that I had been looking real hard but a friend has an early Mark 1 he is thinking of selling me.
I had ACTUALLY been looking for a Mark II but I can live with the Mark I.
Opinions? Anything specific I should know about the Mark 1 ?

This one has the cool "black widow" look of the German Lugers. The Mark IV was designed to be easier to clean than...
Interested in cheap plinking, practice toy. AFAIK, both get good reviews. Would the Taurus be better practice for 'real' pistols? Is Ruger definitely better for accuracy .. not just mechanical accuracy but softer trigger, etc?
You can see in pictures how I had this installed on a Mark II Bull/Target Barrel with a FF3 red dot.
This is an older mount you can google and find some info on them or I can try and answer your questions.
I am selling just the mount for $20.
Neither the optic or the Mark II are for sale.
