PRISM (Parallel Reduced Instruction Set Machine) was a 32-bit RISC instruction set architecture (ISA) developed by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). It was the outcome of a number of DEC research projects from the 1982–1985 time-frame, and the project was subject to continually changing requirements and planned uses that delayed its introduction. This process eventually decided to use the design for a new line of Unix workstations. The arithmetic logic unit (ALU) of the microPrism version had completed design in April 1988 and samples were fabricated, but the design of other components like the floating point unit (FPU) and memory management unit (MMU) were still not complete in the summer when DEC management decided to cancel the project in favor of MIPS-based systems. An operating system codenamed MICA was developed for the PRISM architecture, which would have served as a replacement for both VAX/VMS and ULTRIX on PRISM.PRISM's cancellation had significant effects within DEC. Many of the team members left the company over the next year, notably Dave Cutler who moved to Microsoft and led the development of Windows NT. The MIPS-based workstations were moderately successful among DEC's existing Ultrix users but had little success competing against companies like Sun Microsystems. Meanwhile, DEC's cash-cow VAX line grew increasingly less performant as new RISC designs outperformed even the top-of-the-line VAX 9000. As the company explored the future of the VAX they concluded that a PRISM-like processor with a few additional changes could address all of these markets. Starting where PRISM left off, the DEC Alpha program started in 1989.
NIB, unopened spare. Has the BDC for 9mm from a PCC. BDC works pretty well out to 200 on my PCC if you can see target well enough. Works well in pistol bays in steel match. Was thinking about putting this on another PCC and am now just skipping another PCC.
$250 from PA.
$200 shipped from me...

Personally not for me. Nothing wrong with it. Lightly used, but in good condition over all.
Comes with everything except the...

Partial to the Primary Arms SLx 1-6 with NOVA reticle, but am open to all options.

Have had this for a spell, just never found a good host. Works well, sharp illumination. The pic mount does have a few cuts (photo), had to remove a screw, and have replaced all screws with new. This is the 5.56/.308 version.
Has all risers for sizes of persons. Prefer to meet south sound area...

SLx 1x Varients
I'm planning on replacing all reticles on each of my rifles at this point with this optic. If you have astigmatism nothing comes even remotely close to this prism reticle, especially for the price, I HIGHLY recommend it. Also says this is the...
Primary Arms hit a homerun with these.
Have: Like new in box 5.56x45 Slx Micro Prism 3x green reticle. Looking to trade for: 7.62x39 Slx Micro Prism 3x green or red reticle.
Rethinking a couple configs so would like a 1:1 trade.
Thanks.
This was a build I did last year and it turned out really sweet, but I'm going to instead focus on an Aero Precision build that I started in earnest last week.
I know people talk a lot of bubblegum about PSA, but I love their stuff. I've bought or built over a half-dozen PSA rifles and they've all...
Specs say it is 2.7”. Does anybody know if this is accurate info? I have the newest gen vortex 3x spitfire and it claims 2.6” but I think that is optimistic at best. I like the premise of the magnified prisms but don’t like my nose at the charging handle. 3” plus of eye relief would be better.
Bought used less than a week ago, but after using it at the range it's not really for me. There is nothing wrong with it, I guess I'm just old fashioned with iron sights only.
Comes with everything in the pictures. New 2032 battery installed.
Asking $150 shipped. PayPal and shipping only to...
Anyone near Olympia to Chehalis have one of these? They are recommended for people with astigmatism that see many red dots. This model has a chevron instead of a dot.
Primary Arms SLx MicroPrism 3x Red Dot Sight
As always, thanks in advance.
(Price Drop - want to move it) As noted, for sale is a Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrism with Red Illuminated ACSS Cyclops Gen 2 Reticle in excellent condition. Was mounted and sighted in. Really wanted to like it but my eyes just fought it. Went to a LPVO.
This has about 20 rounds on it before it...
Primary Arms 1x Microprism Red Mounted and ran for 30 rounds, then put back in the box. Great condition, pristine glass. Comes with the box, risers, screws etc.

For giggles, I installed my Primary Arms vlx microprism scope on my AUG with a Sig Juliet 4 magnifier behind it.....couldn't get a clear sight picture of the reticle or the wall across the room. Like completely blurry, unusable blurry. This magnifier works great with my Meprolight RDS Pro...
Never on the rifle when fired. Mounted and realized that the location would not work as I'd intended with the eye box on this optic. As new with box and all included risers and accessories. The reviews are right: this is a very well made optic with great glass for the money. Sold out right...
