44magnum
The .44 Remington Magnum, or simply .44 Magnum (10.9×33mmR), and frequently .44 Mag, is a rimmed, large-bore cartridge originally designed for revolvers. After its introduction, it was quickly adopted for carbines and rifles. Despite the ".44" designation, guns chambered for the .44 Magnum round, and its parent, the .44 Special, use 0.429 in (10.9 mm) diameter bullets. The .44 Magnum is based on the .44 Special case but lengthened and loaded to higher pressures for greater velocity (and thus, energy). The .44 Magnum has since been eclipsed in power by the .454 Casull, and most recently by the .460 S&W Magnum and .500 S&W Magnum, among others; nevertheless, it has remained one of the most popular commercial large-bore magnum cartridges. When loaded to its maximum and with heavy, deeply penetrating bullets, the .44 Magnum cartridge is suitable for short-range hunting of all North American game—though at the cost of heavy recoil and muzzle flash when fired in handguns, less so in carbines and rifles.
Helping a widow liquidate her late husband's reloading equipment. Thanks for taking a look.
I have tried to set the prices significantly below the going new price, if something is overpriced feel free to make a reasonable offer and add a comment letting me know what I got wrong. Please let me...
Great shape. The -3 and -4 are the pinnacle of the 629 series. Very tight and smooth. I have the factory rubber grips for it. No box or papers.
Will include a box of fresh 240gr ammo.
It's just a bit heavier than I'd like to carry around the woods.
$800
For another $100 I'll throw in some nice...
Believe it or not in over 20 years of reloading I have never pushed the edge like I have with these loads in 44Magnum. I always look for accuracy first and velocity second.
With encouragement from a friend I decided to load up some 44 Magnum fast movers. By the way though not seen in the video...
When people see the AR15 most think you are a bad person for owning one, but they see a lever action in 357Mag or 44Mag and laugh at the old man.
In the 1800’s 2 firearms chambered for the same round had a lot of merit. Today with the onslaught of black rifles (AR-15’s) from just about every...
Just look for a hard cast bullet for a 44 magnum. Just got a ruger super Blackhawk hunter so I’m looking something that I can push hard with h110/296 or similar powder. I know the Keith style bullet is the best type but looking for a company that has a good one.
