.32 s&w
The .32 S&W cartridge (also known as the .32 S&W Short) was introduced in 1878 for Smith & Wesson pocket revolvers. It was originally designed as a black powder cartridge. The .32 S&W was offered to the public as a light defense cartridge for "card table" distances.

If you carry a revolver in .327 Federal Magnum, what defensive loads do you use? How about the .32 H&R Magnum? Any you avoid? Any surprises you've found?
The genesis of this question is in the summer months I started carrying a revolver in .32 H&R and recently acquired one in .327 Federal...
Fun little classic. S&W Lemon Squeezer in .32 short, or safety hammerless, new departure...probably another name or two that I'm forgetting. 5 shot, top break. Shoots good, though the front sight is a little bit bent to the left. Meant to fix it, but I got lazy and just compensated for the point...
If you should carry a .32—caliber revolver of any such chambering (e.g., .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32—20 Winchester, .32 H&R Magnum, .327 Federal Magnum, 8㎜ French Ordnance, et al.) for defense against man and/or beast, what loads do you stoke said with? Why so?
Thanks for sharing!
When I got my pal David's stuff, it included one each Smith & Wesson Model 30 and 31, guns chambered for the .32 S&W cartridge. In one of the GI ammo cans was a bunch of ammo for these guns. About 450 rounds, all gun show ammo. By that I mean, loaded by this old guy who used to go to all the...

I am looking for some .32 S&W shorts with blackpowder loads for an old model 2 Iver Johnson revolver I just picked up. I know this is a shot in the dark but I figure I would see if anyone had some. If you know where I can pick some up I would be thankful as well. If this post is still up, I am...
