Not sure how many of you listen to the Michael Berry Show, but this is a bad story that is turning out good.
Cliffs Notes version: WW2 Marine Vet left his house for a little bit and came back to find that some punk kids had spray painted their crap all over inside of it.They also dumped drawers all over the floor.
After Michael Berry talked to him on air, listeners started coming out to help. They are putting the man up in a retirement home while they gather to remodel his house.
Here's some audio/vid, posted in order:

Thanks for sharing that with us. It just helps me to stand by my convictions as to what little is RIGHT with the world today and how much is totally WRONG with it. Those boys they caught should be made to participate in all of the clean up of that mess as part of their sentence and not just get a hand slap as they most likely will because they are kids. People,,, kids are only as little as you let them be or a little as you let them FOOL YOU into believing they are . If you dont talk to them as little adults and help them to develope a sense of what is right and wrong, good and bad, then they just learn from each other. Would you want some boys like the ones in this story to teach your kids what counts ? Make your kids your best friends . Spend some one on one time with them and dont just put their lives on auto pilot .
