Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
But I took it apart and cut the frame up so knowbody could use it. Made bad twice the amount of the cost selling the parts from it on ebay. Well you cant do that anymore. But man did I hear lots of stories of people with problems with them.
A friend of mine has a Mod 48 Jennings that broke the FP a couple of years ago and I took the old one intending to turn one on my lathe as it is a simple design for a FP and would be easy to make but then I found a used one on the net for 10.00. Seems the FP on the Jennings are commonly broken from what I hear and looking at it I can see why as the forward 'pin' portion seems kind of long and it is not supported very well in the frame. If you shoot the gun much I would get two. Otherwise his Jennings shoots well and feeds everything - but I too have heard of people having problems with them.
