I'm starting an M16A1 tribute rifle and I'm looking for an A1 or A2 upper, complete or minus bcg/ch.
This tribute is a look like but modern underneath type build. I'd like it to look like the original but function like a modern AR15.
If you have something let me know. Please send pics. Or alternately if you know a vendor who makes a rifle length upper 18 or 20" barrel a must.

Not sure of your knowledge base on this stuff so I'm just throwing this out there. A rifle barrel extension is not the same as a M4 barrel extension, there is also a difference between rifle upper and and an M4 upper, the rifle lacks feed ramp cuts the M4 . Mixing them has varied results, some not so good.

Right, I'm definitely looking to see whats out there before moving forward. I will wait a bit, but if nothing is available within a reasonable time I will be a complete retro kit which should eliminate any issues with barrel/extensions not matching. Such as:
