This is a few years old, always cased no blemishes.
I believe that it's the CRF model
The new ones on the shelf now are made by browning outside of the country, imported with a Winchester brand stamped on them.
Along with all the importer's markings.
Kinda ugly.....

Actually, the new ones are made in Portugal and don't have the robust old style trigger. This rifle is better in the eyes of a true model 70 collector. It's a classic featherweight with CRF. great rifles, I have one just like it. The 7mm08 classic is harder to find too. Good luck with the sale.

It's quite a bit more than a few years old. If it's a 6 digit, it could possibly be 20 years old.

Is the scope still mounted or totally off the table for being included with the gun at a slightly higher asking price?

You won't have much luck looking it up online. However, if it is a 6 digit, it will be made from around 96-2000 If it's a 7 digit, from 2001 to 2006. Approx..
