Just wanted to share a pawnshop rescue I acquired this weekend. 1961 Winchester Model 12 Featherweight in fantastic shape. The receiver has just a very, very small pair of pitting. The bore is nearly mirror shiny.

It had quite a bit of surface rust so the results of a thorough cleaning was pretty surprising! Not bad for $380 bucks!

Cool find and great price to boot...!
Always nice to give a older firearm some TLC and a new lease on life.

Absolutely, this one will be a keeper. From what I read, the featherweight is an uncommon variation. I hate that the stock was drilled somewhat poorly to fit a pachymayr white line pad.
