I have a very nice model 61 made in or around 1939, chambered in 22 s l lr. The finish is original and in great condition. The barrel is bright and clean. The rifle's function is perfect and has eliminated a few squirrels. The rifle will need a scope as the mount is taped into the receiver, most likely done when the original owner purchased the rifle.
