will standard 1911 grips fit on my Para 16-40?

i recently got a PARA ORDANACE 16-40 LDA, It is a stainless .40s&W 1911, with double stack mag so its frame is larger in the grip area. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i can attach standard 1911 grips on it without modification... :huh:
