Why we need high capacity magazines

Our forefathers emphasized it to match anyone trying to oppress us. We must have a balance so the country can remain under it's citizens control. Magazines or miniscule items slowly work towards the agenda of disarming America like Hitler did to Germany before the Holocaust.

I also struggle to understand the logic that private citizens need to be restricted in magazine capacity, while law enforcement officers, who are highly trained and in constant contact with multiple additional highly trained officers who will respond immediately to any officer in distress call, do need "high capacity" magazines.

ie: will companies no longer be able to sell them to Oregonians at all, or will the legalities of buying/having/using them simply be up to the buyers?
