2.25 X seems to be a popular power there.I use the surgical loops from Amazon, pretty much like those $40 ones! I do a lot of super tiny fidgity stuff like photo etch bending and soldering, and then painting, so it's a must have! I found the 3X to be about the most power I wanted, and sometimes it's a bit much, the 2.5x might have been better, especially as you can wear your cheaters and gain power if needed, but not loose power!
