Ruger Lipsey's New Model Blackhawk dual cylinder .45 acp/.45 LC I've owned 3 of them at separate times in the past and always regret letting them go, buy, sell, buy, sell, rinse repeat insanity!

Another would be the Colt Govt. .380, I've owned 3 of these as well albeit not simultaneously. The sickness is real!

When are you buying your next bullpup? I don't think you've learned to say no yet
I'm resisting the urge to buy an RFB and a Desert Tech to see which .308 bullpup is the best. I already know what the Kel Tec would be, the MDRx's big gimmick is the side plate forward ejection deal but apparently that is finicky.

The issue with bullpups for me always comes down to ejection and a handguard for your trigger hand. Not being able to switch shoulders without eating brass and busting your knuckles in supported positions ruins half of bullpups.

I really want to love the FS2000 because it is forward ejecting and solves a lot of issues but the discontinued civilian version ruins it for me. If you must have a bullpup in a carbine caliber I'd probably go AUG or M17S. If you need .308 then I'd go M17S and nothing else. Tavor 7 is a cinderblock masquerading as a gun and has all the problems of the original Tavor. MDRx seems to be kinda poorly received and I know they have multiple generations now. Who knows how well they've fixed the forward ejection plate thing. RFB takes FAL mags lol and it's a Keltec to boot. Also no handguard.

Honestly the only bullpups I don't completely hate are the AUG, M17s, FS2000. And I haven't even put any rounds down the FS2000 so I can't say if the weird offset recoil is as big of issue as some claim.

FN PS90:
Bullpups: Just say no. A solution looking for a problem. Innovative and not the worst gun but yeah, waste of money as well. I hate 5.7 as well.
It is basically a PDW meant for a semi-niche purpose which apply to civilian defense. I would not want a PS90/P90 to be the only option I have, but it works for me & mine because its characteristics fit our needs; none of us (myself & my "kids") are trained/experienced in front line combat nor do I anticipate we will be involved in it.

The PS90 is a "behind the lines" PDW for us - something to have handy, not to walk into battle with - something to use to retreat back to cover where heavier weapons are available, but the "heavies" are not something we would want to lug around while tending to property tasks (gardening/foraging, collecting fuel, etc.) in a SHTF scenario. Also for use while traveling into town for supplies.

Whatever floats your boat. For me I don't think it really fits the PDW and I've always had a bone to pick with the PDW concept. Like an MP5 is nearly the size of an 8.5" AR but substantially weaker. The P90 is the same. The offset is full auto capability which none of us have and if we did we wouldn't use a tens of thousands of dollar weapon for defensive use.

As I recall the MP7 and P90 were made to have superior armor penetration in a small platform that was more capable than a pistol but not a full rifle. We can't get the good ammo and the idea of criminals arming up in body armor was a fleeting proposition as well. We see this reflected in cops now all having a carbine in their car and limited development in this niche. Again, a solution to a problem that didn't exist. As to having a small and compact weapon for mounted units, the difference between a shorty AR is miniscule and you have commonality with ammo and magazines with the other troops.

Now for my issue specifically with PDW's, I much prefer the idea of the Skorpion and chassis systems. You have a handgun that can be carried as easily as a handgun but with a quick deploying stock. The Chassis systems are far less elegant and I think items like the TP9 miss the mark as well. However the Vz. 61 was a brilliant design and still is the pinnacle of the PDW concept in my opinion. It's such a shame it is so antiquated and we haven't had a parallel analogue develop. A simple optics ready Glock 17L/18 with some kind of well designed folding or telescoping stock would be fantastic. It's a shame we have junk like the FAB stocks, Flux Chassis, U-Brace deal crap. Someone needs to design something that will tuck away neatly and allow for a traditional holster to be used.

Or go Beretta 93R with the little fold down forward grip and have a sliding stock that travels down the frame rails. I think it would be a better platform to start from than the Glock.

If I see another Fusion Firearms XP Pro listed for the price of one I saw locally, I'm jumping on it.
Glock mag compatible 🤤 I just wish they made the XP with a compact frame so I can use my G19 mag surplus instead of having to buy G17 mags

They heard you and made it just for you.

How do you like the XP? I just bought one and still waiting on the 10+ day waiting period.

To me, the definition of 'impulse buy' is that one doesn't know in advance what one is going to buy.

so my mind is wide open to let the impulse do its thing.

Coastal had a sale this weekend. I intended to leave with a Ruger American Ranch but this Savage Magpul Scout was on clearance, plus 10% off, plus 20% back in store credit so I said screw it and took it home.

I can't think of a single gun I'm interested in buying anymore. After the last 4 years of buying, buying, buying, I have every gun I want and then some. All the grails, all the neat-os and all the whiz bangs. Guess the only thing left to buy is loose women...
