At SHOT Show, Zastava announced they have submitted paperwork to the ATF to import the Zastava M84 - PKM belt fed. As soon as they hit US shores, I am instantly buying one. Absolutely dream gun!

Not applicable for this gun, but I was watching a video from a us special forces trainer and gun reviewed (for Special forces, not reviewer for YouTube ha ha) and he raves about 5.45. I never gave it any thought until I saw that video.

I don't know if it was this video or a different one of someone covering SHOT show, but Ranco says that they are going to initially bring it in in the original 54R caliber. He says however they may bring it in later also in 308. However I would assume that might mean different belts/links, which would be problematic.

Yesterday I LITERALLY bought 6 100rd PKM ammo belts, JUST in case they import it. Partially because I am guessing if they do, all surplus cheap PKM belts will sell out very quickly. Also, if M114 does go into effect, wont be able to buy the belts/links, but still could get the gun . . .

They said it'll be available to start in 7.62x54R, and next will likely be .308.

Interesting. They call them SD. "SD" in hk lingo means a ported barrel that vents into a suppressor. Is that what these do?

Interestingly for the mp5 "SD" was a grail gun that people pay $6500 for a clone. But now with the advent of the PTR vent 2 suppressor, a regular mp5 with that suppressor is quieter than an SD (and a fraction of the cost). Plus no maintenance issues like the SD has duenits ported barrel. Also the mp5 SD losses 35% velocity with every shot due to the gas ported into the suppressor.

I have 300 BOs and 556s. Would probably be interested in the 6mmARC. Have that in a Barrett rifle so a short rifle might be enjoyable.

They were going for $619 not that long ago. I think that was after rebate though but can't recall. I was considering one at that price.

I got one with the rebate $550 out the door but on hoe broker they are pushing the 1k mark I got mine from PSA on clearance. It is a nice pistol shoots great suppressed and runs anything like the CZ 75 but is a lot classier imho !

I sprung for a new Glock 17V yesterday. At $80 less than the Gen 6, it was good enough for me. I've had a G19 (Gen 3) for ages, have liked it a lot. I'm in the process of assembling a G25, that's the .380. I've already tried out the slide and bbl. on my G19 frame, works like a charm.

Well, Chit here is another one. On sale at Coastal. Ruger Wrangler .22lr/.22 magnum. Changeable cylinders. Went to coastal looking for stove pellets and this one followed me home and as for the budwieser, I was at home sitting in the driveway and it hadn't been opened yet.

I had one years ago and sold it. At the Bremerton gun show in December I bought a Remington 760 deluxe in 30-06 in almost mint condition. It will go well with my Browning BAR Logtrac in 30-06. My grandson will wind up with them.
