Also the legal classification of "handgun" vs. "longgun" is stupid and highlights how moronic the law actually is. I will only use the ATF classifications if Iam talking about ATF classifications. Else I will call it like it is, and that means "pistols" with "braces" are functional carbines (and the ATF can stuff off with "Short barrel" anything because that is also an arbitrary classification unless you want to talk about powder burn efficiency).

No, I have a genetic alcohol sensitivity. I process the stuff at about twice the rate of a normal person. My whole lymph node system gets involved, not just the liver (they are very similar cell types). Heavy drinking just makes everything hurt, it does not get me drunk. Downside is long term alcoholism will kill me faster than a normal person too, so while I can win any drinking game short term, try it too many times in a row and .

Lol, sort of? It's a natural high tolerance that will kill you if you push it too far. My wife got me one of those keychain breathalyzers, highest I have ever gotten it is .075, and that took a whole bottle of rum and a few other mixed drinks over a few hours to do. It was fun in the moment, bu my back was so sore the next morning I just shuffled around the house. Nowadays I temper myself just because I don't like to pay for it later. I cap myself at half a bottle over an evening, and that heavy only once every couple of months.

Hmmm, I've been fortunate enough to have religious beliefs that discourage drinking, so it's never been much of an issue, but I can't drink either. I didn't know there was a genetic tie-in and now I wonder if that's my problem - if I drink I don't get drunk, I get a hangover almost immediately, and my face flushes red. Something like that?
