Awesome for the info...Looks like you have Type 38 Carbine....in 6.5 Japanese .
It also has the "Mum"...and what appears to be a Chigusa factory of Nagoya Arsenal marking on the receiver.
As well as what looks like a series 4 stamping....
1906 - 1939 were when these were made.
