What bullet is this?

This is a 9mm +P hollowpoint. It is a complete round and the casing has the headstamp (*--*), which is Starline brass.

Anybody know what this is?

I have some old ImI ammo with that same bullet.
I wish i new more i have shot a few and they were very accurate i found out they were built for good feeding in a uzi.

What does it say on the base of th caseing? Just (*--*) Did you measure height of the caseing how wide the caseing is. Yes it is a hollowpoint. If you reload looking in the reloading handbook will tell you the cal.. post your finding and some one will tell you what you have.

It looks a lot like a Rainier Ballistics "hex hollowpoint" bullet. No idea whether the loaded round is from a small
commercial reloader or someones private reloads. Where did you get the loaded round?
